**High Priest Glacius promptly forced his spear into the dirt and pulled free the oak longbow from his back

High Priest Glacius says "So...from what I have seen, you're suppose to grab hold of the weapon with your less dominant hand and draw with the other"

Priestess Emily Truthcaller says "Pff."

High Priest Glacius says "Excuse me?"

Priestess Emily Truthcaller says "Bows are rediculous."

High Priest Glacius says "Are you left or right handed?"

Priestess Emily Truthcaller says "Right handed."

High Priest Glacius says "Good, I am the same."

Priestess Emily Truthcaller says "Hmm."

**High Priest Glacius looks the bow over, firmly grasping his left hand over the leather binded grip and holding it infront of him straight armed

**Priestess Emily Truthcaller inspects his movements and how he draws the bow.

**High Priest Glacius takes his right hand and brings it around to his backside, pulling from his makeshift quiver and draws a single plain oak dart of sorts, the tip only be sharpened wood and the end being carved into for wings

**High Priest Glacius he'd blink a few times and bring the arrow up, pressing the opened notch against the wire and holding it "Alright..." he'd simply state, pulling back against the pullstring partway and prematurely letting go, the arrow springs forth lopsided and smacks against the hay block "Ehm....ignore that."

**Priestess Emily Truthcaller giggles.

High Priest Glacius says "Hey, using a bow isnt easy!"

Priestess Emily Truthcaller says "I suppose I wouldn't do much better."

Priestess Emily Truthcaller says "You'll have to personally assist me in getting my hands in the right places on the bow."

High Priest Glacius says "From what Im gathering here....you should not rely only on your pull string arm to pull, perhaps make a more fluid motion of pulling and pushing with both arms...and one can only assume that you must look down the arrow for guidance....I shall try.""

Priestess Emily Truthcaller says "Good luck!"

**High Priest Glacius nods "Thank you apprentice." he'd state with a warm smile, looking the bow over once more and reaching for his quiver for yet another crude wooden bolt like arrow, notching it and pulling back on the string whilst also pushing the bow's shaft forward, the sound of the wood creaking and giving to the newly found pull is heard, the priest's arm beginning to shake lightly under the 120 pounds of force behind the string and with no warning what so ever he released the wire from his hands, a sudden "WOOSH" being heard as the string flies forth and propels the bolt forward, it impales the target but off to the side, no where near the center where he was aiming

High Priest Glacius says "That was better..."

Priestess Emily Truthcaller says "I'd have to agree."

Priestess Emily Truthcaller says "It stuck this time."

High Priest Glacius says "Yes....I would have to say so.....but....accuracy was my issue....perhaps I need to curve the angle of my bow....and use the shaft of the arrow much like a guide?"

Priestess Emily Truthcaller says "Perhaps, that may allow you to see your arrows course better."

Priestess Emily Truthcaller says "And/or pattern in which you believe it to travel."

**High Priest Glacius nods, promptly tilting his bow towards the right and leveling off the new arrow ontop, pulling and pushing on the bow until the string is completely back once more, arms shaking with raw power of the strike to soon come, a muffled groan escaped the man, clearly the longbow's power was a bit much for the average strength man, never the less he took what time he could to level his eye off with the shaft of the arrow and down towards his target, a slightly audible huff of air escaping him in his final moments and just like before his fingers released with an audible woosh and snap of the string, sending the arrow forth and nailing the haybale, the arrow didn't strike true with his aim completely but it hit just below, this was a victory to him.

This lesson was a brief introduction to longbows and bows alike for both Glacius and Emily

First Entry: Physical and Mental Training With Emily

**Glacius decided after having brushed up against his archery training with Emily that it was time for the two to work out like they did the other day, so he thought up a work out that would work out their strength, endurance and willpower.

**Glacius borrowed two sizeable logs from Sir Smith's storage with his permission and handed one to his apprentice, telling her of a scenario that would help her focus on the task at hand, telling her to treat the log much like a shield she was holding above her head to ward off arrows that were raining down on them, he also told her however that if she stopped she would be shot in the back by a leveled off arrow. Encouraging the young beastkin to push herself beyond her limits by using her hypothetical will to live.

**The two then set off, starting at the city's front gate and running all the way to the other side of the river, where glacius then decided to offer Emily an out, a simple break to catch her breath as a task to see if she would take the easy out. But the young apprentice did him proud, refusing his offer for a moment to stop and insist on returning in the same manner and so the two did, once again running across the wooded path until they reached the city's wooden gate.

Second Entry: Prayer with Emily Truthcaller and Sophia Dawnlight

**The three gather around the holy water well as Glacius instructed, each grabbing hold of his bronzed staff and joining in prayer

**High Priest Glacius slowly shuts his eyes, clearing his throat and begins to speak clearly in his bold roman accent "Light, we three gather here today as we always will from point onward to give prayer and thanks to you for all you bring, you give us reason, you give us drive and purpose and balance the right and wrong in this world, we shall stand beside you in your brightest and darkest of moments, come monster or arrow, come bandit or the fall of the kingdom, we...are and shall forever be your servants and will follow your will with out question....Ave Savant."

Third Entry: Sparring Match Between Sophia And Emily

**Glacius decided to test both of his apprentices, Emily in retaining what had taught her yesterday and Sophia in what she could pick up in a lesson. he had sensed tension between the two and decided this was also a great way to achieve cohesion. He allowed Emily to recite what he had taught her yesterday to Sophia.

**With his past lesson properly recited to his newest inductee he allowed the two to spar with no instruction, examining the two and correcting any errors they came across, studying their footwork from a third person view and much more.

**Late at night**

Spiritual Realization

Glacius had always been one to favor the light even when he was nothing more than your average roaming bard making day to day gold singing and playing for one's amusement, but now it has been taken further.

The man is no longer a simple bard, he is a priest, a servant of the light, having witnessed the power and grace of the light itself, the darkness that envelopes the land and the cruelty that follows he knows what must be done. He is now completely devoted to his faith, the light and his will to press on, laying down the lives of light's enemies with no questions and raising his church from the ground up in hopes of one day bringing back the savior-esc figures known as the Paladins. Searching whatever crypts and ruins he can in search of remnants of this once great spiritual following in hopes of bringing it back.

This post is about his further devotion to the light and his will to press on with bringing it back.

Combat:

**Glacius dove into the hellish dungeon once more, managing to kill a bandit with a bow for the first time, noting of the style and focus he used, judging that his method of shooting was proper and will practice further with this method.

**Glacius also tapped into his will power reserves casting his Divine Protection twice whilst inside of the Dungeon.

Resistance:

**Glacius experienced an entirely new level of pain, having had his Divine Protection up he was forced to walk through the flames, not taking any damage but having to deal with the raw pain of the shear heat burning at him. Because of this everything painful he had experienced before hand seems much less bothersome.

Workout:

**Glacius took a rest day as to allow his muscle fibers to repair themselves and stronger at that.

Spiritual/Faith/Leadership/

**Glacius took a stand in the count's Siege, giving the men a prayer to hold up their spirits and make them fight much more Zealously. Having seen results Glacius reflected upon this moment with a greater belief in what the light can do and in his own capabilities as a leader.

Reaction/Perception

**Glacius didn't truly go toe to toe with any foes in this fight, however he learned to pay more attention when on the field and more observant of the individual's movement. Also managing to intercept a spear's thrust with his Divine spell casting.

Willpower:

**Once again Glacius taps into his will reserves, casting his divine protection twice during the siege and twice before bed, trying to increase his natural reserves.

Research:

**Glacius did what he could to observe his newly found spell during the very short time they were up just before bed, doing his best to try and discover anything that could possibly be missing from his mind and of course reading bits and pieces of old holy scripture scavenged from holy tombs.

Workout:

2nd rest day to allow his muscles to regrow stronger, work out shall begin next day.

Bow Training: Glacius took it upon himself to hone his skills further than before, walking out into the silent wilds of the forest with his standard gear, setting up a makeshift wooden target of his own creation and using his bow on it. The target was about average size for a human man and glacius was standing about 14 yards away, this was indeed a bit closer than kill range for the average english bowman but Glacius had much to learn still. The aspiring paladin did what he could to reflect on what he had discovered before from his rash practice with Emily and of course his short use of the bow in the dungeon where he got his bow kill. So the man did just that, spending an hour of his day stepping further and further back from his target whilst also trying to shoot his arrows for the same spot, or close anyhow.

Staff Training: After having finished up with his bow he'd remove the wooden dummy darts and promptly pull out his bronzed staff, examining the target and essentially building scenarios of the wooden bandit taking up guards and strikes, leaving Glacius to mime out various strikes and counters whilst at the same time trying to judge if he could truly keep such a strike away from himself. After a while Glacius comes up with the conclusion that the best tactic for using his staff is to use a hybrid of both staff like moves as well as two handed axe/hammer styled fighting for maximum effectiveness, once again spending an hour on this.

Workout: With his weapon training said and done Glacius decided now was the time to train his body just like he did his mind, so the man walked back to his church simply to retrieve a bag of sorts, which appears to be filled to the brim with the churches Iron Ingot stock, the sack was heavy to say the least. "This should be a good example for armor..." he'd simply state, slinging the heavy bag on his back and promptly setting out for a run once more, trudging across the city, through the gates and well beyond the forest to the bridge that crossed the river where he passed his last marking, however the man didn't wish to risk a beastman attack, so he turned around and decided to run back from this point, once again running across the field and back to the city. The man was tired at this point, after all this was his stopping point last time, but he couldn't stop, he wanted to break that thresh hold holding him back, so the man turned around and set off once more, making it just beyond the wooden walls and into Sir Daniel's abode where he stopped, out of breath "I am...improving.."

Magic: Glacius up to this point had been spending his will points every day in an attempt to enlarge his will capabilities, but today was different, when things got quiet inside of his church the high priest sat down on his bed and held up his hand only to clutch with in it a ball of holy energy that pertains to his Divine protection spell, he was certain there had to be more behind this spell, so the man spent what seemed to be hours on attempts to manipulate the spell, trying to image forming it into a light formed shield for directional protection to casting it on his sword to see if it would bind and writing down whatever that he may find and above all still trying to increase his magical prowess and discover just how long it takes for him to regenerate his mana.

Reading: Just before bed time Glacius pulls out his bible and begins to read from it. After having delt with the chaos heresy the man was not to be found a fool again, so he decided to begin reading several passages of the book during his night time waiting to learn more of his own faith, its history and of course of his town's history.

Study: Glacius reads further into his holy book, spending a good 4 hours of delving deeper and deeper into the lost knowledge of those before him and taking the time to reread anything that came off as odd or possibly difficult for him.

Bow Practice: Glacius once again takes up practice with his bow, lightly jogging out into his previous spot and setting up his shabby wooden target once more "Practice practice practice..." he would say to himself, stepping a good 30 yards away from his target and drawing his bow again. The man followed his routine that he had used in the past, taking a firm stance, drawing his bow and aiming beyond the shaft of the arrow and into the target. With this out of the way the man noticed the subtle sway of his breathing so he decided to breath in and exhale until his body was at a complete standstill and then firing. Glacius was certainly not a fast shooter, but he was not aiming for speed, he was slow and steady at best, taking his time to calculate his shots and try to go for accuracy, or at least achieve a hitting shot. Taking 1 hour to practice this.

Pole arm Practice: After finishing up with his bow Glacius took up practicing with his staff, once again reviewing his defensive stance and counters, filling out the various scenarios of an attacker over and over again, doing what he can to make this muscle memory. After doing this for a while the man begins to perform newer moves, much like polearm flourishes over the head and various directions of the like for multiple foe engagement if the need ever did so arise. Spending 2 hours on this.

Magic: Once again as Glacius layed on his bed he took up casting his spell until he was spent for the night, all the while studying the nature of his spell, doing what he can to manipulate and control it and hopefully in the end discover what else could be done with it. 2 hours

Sermons: Glacius performed two sermons for the townsfolk of both Karrack and Nar'Shadaw, both were an hour long and spanned from donations, blessing of the people and praising the light for all that it has given the people, which in turn raised the moral of the people and reminded Glacius of why he truly follows the not so easy path of the light. 2 Hours

Exercise: Glacius started the day out with a simple set of 10 push ups, making sure to dip down as far as he could possibly go and push himself back up. After having judged that the challenge just wasn't enough for him yet the man would take it a step forward, filling a sack with 30 pounds worthy of stuff and resting it on his back. After having judged this heavy enough for him the man layed out again for his push ups, forcing himself to do another 20 more which ends with him struggling to the end, this was indeed a step up in the challenge for the man so he decided to mark this as progress. 1 hour

Bow and Polearm Training: Today Glacius simply did a repeat of what he had done yesterday, doing nothing really different aside for increasing his range for the bow by 5 yards and performing his newer moves with the staff more fluently. 3 hours

Study: Glacius reads on into his light based book, ever compelled by its content like any true holy man would, he found himself...more connected for reading it, knowing the true origin of one's religion could bring anyone a deeper involvement. The man truly felt this is where he belonged, being the lights noble and ever standing servant, this was his noble mission, to bring the light back to the common folk and eradicate the evil that torments them in the light's name. 4 hours

New Goal: Rock Hatred- Ever since being hit by a rock for the first time Glacius wants nothing to do with rocks and rock throwers, the man despises the concept for the fact that any idiot can lob a rock and a few times it doomed him and his team. However the last time he remarked his hatred for rocks one fell on top of his head with no source what so ever, who could of done this? The light? A vengeful god? Perhaps the planet itself telling Glacius to go fuck himself. Never the less the man must find out who had the balls to throw a rock at him.

Dungeon Crawl

Knowledge/Faith: Glacius did little to no fighting what so ever inside of the Dungeon however his wits were suddenly brought about him, with his newly found devoted faith thanks to his book the man began to identify and disect the very portions of the holy truthcaller tomb and expanded his knowledge even further with what information and notes he could find from runes of vision to the very graves if holy paladins before him.

Pain/Magic: Glacius was once again in need of his spell to protect him, however this time it wasn't from some petty sword or file, but a large spiked shield, pressing the man hard against an Iron porticullus and leaving him there. During this time the man called for the light desperate and discovered that he could cast his spell one after another. But the biggest feat of all was withstanding the horrifying pain of having your body constantly compressed with little give.

End Of Dungeon Crawl

Book: To simply put, Glacius reads further into his light bible before falling asleep
