*Today was like no other for the paladin in training, the holy man known as Glacius came across a void gate, after the man consulted his book and identified the odd nature of this other wordly portal he'd set off with a sizeable party, including Tizzy, Daniel Smith and of course the somewhat hot headed elf. In this time a large amount of events had taken place that would no doubt expand the ever learning man's mind and help himself improve.*

Event #1: *Glacius took charge among the first of many fights that happened across his party, everyone was on the verge of dehydration having trekked across the desert in hot clothing. It was he who then took the water they had and rationed it out among his party. Selflessly making sure everyone else's hydration needs were met before taking his own drink, the rest of it, rather than giving into his own greedy needs handed it out among those of Daniel's levy that needed it the most, taking pity upon them. This was an act of purity and perhaps...should any of those men in specific survive that event, maybe they would tell the tale of the selfless priest* *He himself managed to ENDURE the heavy need of water and the boiling nature of his suit*

Event #2: *With Daniel smith having led his men into the dunecrawler's ambush point unknowingly, quite a few of his levy that managed to survive were in a panic, borderline to the point of fleeing. But this was NOT the true outcome, the priest stood before the men, allowing the torch he held so boldly above him to caste it's light downwards. With that the man gave a speech, impacting the hearts of those present with the promise of the light's protection and the return of their families and love ones with glory in hand, bolstering the ranks once again for his noble friend*

Event #3: *Once again the group was in conflict, more specifically the elf and Gnome broke out into a fight, rather than simply allowing this event to unfold and for someone to be killed, he stepped in, pushing the two aside with MOSTLY nonviolent tactics and bringing the pair to a resolution, saving the party from bloodshed, even giving gold from his own pocket to help quell the upcoming anger. Finally the elf wished to fight Glacius out of anger for his meddling, but the priest managed to talk the man down, resolving this conflict with his literate words rather than his mace.*

Event #4:*COMBAT: Sure enough with time the group was engaged, by a large monstrous creature, with armor that said no to sword and spear and drove fear among the ranks. Through it all Glacius pushed on, fighting the monster with all of his might and faith. Casting upon this beast Smite TWICE (2x) and bringing it to it's knees with his mace. He even unleashed an experimental move out of it all, taking note as well of it's results, he charged the target head on, gaining speed only for himself to spin almost completely towards the end, putting all of his force and weight into one directed swing, costing himself his balance for the sole purpose of getting off a heavy strike of stunning proportion and then ANOTHER, following up with such keen precision that was even baffling to him that he broke the beast's claw CLEAN off it's body nearly and left it to flee up against the wall. He took note of this technique and the effects it had on his body, he'd think it over and put thought into how he could avoid breaking his poise. In the end, it was Glacius with the aid of the bolstered Levy Spear men that brought the creature down.*

Event #5: *MAGIC* Through out combat Glacius took it upon himself to strategically use his divine protection on those most in need, in this case it was Daniel Smith two times, using it to ensure the lord was safe from injury or death alike. Finally earlier in the day, Glacius perform a somewhat intuitive experiment, using his divine protection on a lone leaf and experimenting with that on the void gate, finding out that he can indeed find life among plants and that his protection can shield from the extreme cold of the void*

*Back at his Church*

*After getting out of Shady Glacius would retire to his church, after conversing with his Gnome friend and drinking a sizeable amount of water to quench his desert driven thirst the man would look over the claw he had brought back, that disgustingly torn extension was the tool he needed, he saw those claws at work and had to have them for his arsenal. But the holy man was NO weapon smith, but what he was, was a novice if not adept carpenter, having been one of the main few to have built and renovated his church. So after getting what spare supplies he had from his last church based project, the man got to work, firstly he'd venture outside, starting a roaring fire, but not one too hot as to risk burning the bones to useless levels, with the fire burning Glacius would rest the weapon against the fire, allowing the intense heat to slowly burn away at the flesh, ligaments and muscle that made up the limb, after a long wait he'd remove the remains from the fire and look it over, all that was left was four heavy claws untouched by the fire and the blackened yet functional bones that connected to them.*
*The man would store away with the thumb based claw and leave the three main digits in his person, with that in mind he'd then bring a cooking pot over, suspending it over the fire and filling it with water, after allowing the water to boil the man would drop the three digits into the water, allowing the bones to boil, removing from them the impurities (That we call stock/broth) and removing them.
*Finally the priest would go back inside to his humble abode, he'd look the claws over one final time before removing his parma from his back, he'd look the copper bolster wooden shield over before placing it down against a flat surface, securing it and marking where he was to put them with a piece of flint. After that the main would take from his stock an oak board and cut it down to proper dimensions . After tracing the exterior of the bone digits onto the bottom portions of the board, he'd carve them out, leaving 3 individual holes along the length of it, ones that would match perfectly with the bones.
*The priest would then push the bones one by one into their respective slots, sitting them in there with a snug if not perfect fit, he'd mark the top of the board where the bones are with flint and gently press the board down against the shield, centering it and then getting to work with the next step*
*The man then brought forth a collection of iron nails and caps, one by one the priest slammed and hammered away against the nails, pushing beyond the oak, the bone and out beyond the soft nature of his copper shield, placing three in each bone, securing the bones down against the shield and capping the nails off so that they may not move. He'd then do the same things but to the boarders of the wood,adhering itself to the surface of the shield and further bolstering the strength the bones had against the metal*
*Finally Glacius would put the shield back onto his forearm, securing the leather strap present to the very base of it and taking the center handle into his hand, he'd give the weapon a few practice swings, finding out that it's most potential use was in an uppercut like swing, slicing those sharp weapons clear through the air*

*Resting*

*Finally after his eventful day Glacius would lay down in his bed, dusting off his old year old tome and read through it, perhaps now the man would have finished this old book of his and discover whatever secrets lie with in, if and when he finally finished this tome, he'd read a few chapters into his new found book and then retire for the night*

*Glacius, was destroyed on this very day, all the man thought was right was truly wrong and he became the true instrument of terror and pain on those he held dear, the paladin, broken and mentally drained holds himself in his church, taking in it's dark looks and it quite booms that resonated from inside out, he needed a miracle...he needed to free the brightlord from his entrapment, but he'd need help to do so...*

-Action #1: Glacius would take up his recently discovered book, reading into the third day of it, taking comfort in it's words and bringing hope to his battered soul.

-Action #2: After he was done reading from his divine tome Glacius would do something experimental, he'd walk outside of his church, walk over to his grape vines and pluck through it a few dead leaves, he'd look them over before going back into his church, he'd kneel down, gently clutching those dead leaves gently in his hand and closing his eyes. He'd focus, deeply, staring into the deepest darkest portions of his closed gaze, finding in himself his inner light.
He'd then imagine this energy, his faith itself being a constant river of energy, flowing through out his body in a steady motion, the more focus he took in, the large, the wider and the more powerful this stream of good and holy would become, then finally he'd reach out, imagining the energy itself running down his arm, using his body as it's method of transport before finally, reaching his finger tips and out, trying with all his might to imagine this energy encompassing the leaves, protecting them and regenerating them to their once green state* (Experimentation for healing)

-Action #3: Finally after all of his efforts Glacius would get to his knees in a praying state, eyes closed and body still, calling out to the light, praying to it, begging it or someone of it to come before him, to give him guidance and to help him in this time of evil versus good. He would continue this process the ENTIRE NIGHT, avoiding sleep and possibly conserving if not replenishing himself through this process alone. "Please....heavenly light, take me....do whatever you will to protect these people...I am but one man....I serve you to the fullest limits I am capable...I would lay down my life for both you and the people you watch over....but Im afraid Im not strong enough here, please...aid me...show me a sign at the very least to know you're with me...cast your heavenly rays down upon me.."

*Sparred with Count Daniel using mace and claw gauntlet*

**Count Daniel Smith Draws his longsword out, holding it in a low guard as he waits for the sparring match to begin, grounding his stance while he faces glacius.
**Count Daniel Smith nods his head and soon advances on glacius. He would bring his sword up, once he closes enough distance, speaking while he does so. "First one to tap the other with a weapon will end the spar."
High-Priest Glacius Steelborne says "Very well, on your go.."
**Count Daniel Smith He'd slow the start of the fight, seeming to make it a long and akward silence as he just looks at glacius. Holding his sword up. And once several long moments had passed, he would deceptively swing his sword around in a surprising strike, attempting to swing it below the bulky mace and whack glacius against his shin guard.
**High-Priest Glacius Steelborne gets hit on the leg I suppose


**Count Daniel Smith Lowers his weapon and backs off, chuckling slightly. "Lost your guard? You may begin this round." He says, as he awaits for glacius to start the attack."
**High-Priest Glacius Steelborne simply kept silent, be it annoyance or his pride dying off like the halo franchise, he'd bring both his gauntlet and mace forward, he'd approach Daniel from the left, bringing his mace down underhand towards the bottom most portion's of Daniel's hilt, attempting to jostle his grip
**Count Daniel Smith He'd watch glacius' move around himself, trying to get to attack him with the mace. He made quick sidesteps, trying to maintain a distance and as he brought the mace in, retracted his sword and then swung it out again, attempting to counter attack by slapping glacius arm over the top with the long flat sword.
**High-Priest Glacius Steelborne simply brought his claw arm over and across his own arm like some sort of terrible salute, never the less he'd protect his arm from the uncoming strike and then force upwards with his heavy strength (16) attempting to push Daniel's sword away just enough for him to thrust his mace inwards and touch the flat of it against his chest
**Count Daniel Smith As glacius blocked and tried to push his blade away, the skilled swordsman would back off and quickly retract his blade while stepping around to keep his distance and circle glacius. Keeping his weapon in a high guard position as he began to back away from the sparring partner.
**High-Priest Glacius Steelborne Glacius would change his guard as well, keeping his mace low but flipping his claw gauntlet upright, holding it near his head and forward somewhat
**Count Daniel Smith Continues backing up, and backing up...He distanced himself quite alot from glacius. But as he gained his footing, he would jog forward, rapidly advancing on glacius. But suddenly stop himself, trying to throw off his timing if he was planning a counter while daniel approached. After this feint, he would lunge in with a low swing, attempting to slap glacius' lower stomach with the flat of his sword, at the tips length.
**High-Priest Glacius Steelborne Glacius immediately pushed himself over to his left as to avoid the advancing Daniel, with this he'd take his left most arm and punch it forward, attempting to use the lengthy nature of his claws (That totally make lucas jealous compared to his :: to graze at the top of his helm
**Count Daniel Smith Seeing the incoming claws going to graze him, he would make an intensive move to avoid it, getting on his knee and lashing out with a swift swing, attempting to slash the broadside of his sword below glacius' extended arm and against his torso. Using his own skill and the swiftness of his blade to try and complete this attack.
**High-Priest Glacius Steelborne Glacius would watch as Daniel went downwards, the paladin was not quick enough to to block or evade such a blow, but instead as he followed through with his punch he'd force his left leg out, attempting to kick the duke as his sword would go to meet him, possibly bringing a draw?
**Count Daniel Smith He whacked glacius' normal steel breastplate with the side of his truesteel blade, while in no position to quickly move, he took a simple punt, knocking him to the side but we'll call this a draw. He climbed to his feet, brushing the snow off of his leg and he'd place the sword back into his sheath, nodding to glacius. "That was good. But I am getting rather tired. Today was eventful."
