you should buff the Coat of Plate. Most of them are layered and riveted and can be impressively strong if not better than actual plate at some regards.
also it'd be cool if you added two new weapon types under the two-handed weaponry:
Ultragreat swords - 8 ingots (Two handed sword)
Ultragreat hammers - 10 ingots (Two handed mace)
Ultragreat axes - 7 ingots (Two handed axes)
All Ultragreat weapons have a base strength requirement of 20. Not being able to meet the requirement means you cannot use them. If you meet the requirement, they are unwieldy, but can inflict massive damage and will always be one-up on the level of lethality for its class of material. For instance, if it is an Iron ultra-greatsword, it'll have 22-33 lethality instead of 11-22.
Ultra class weapons can only be used at full speed only until the user has well over enough strength and dexterity to make it so. This is usually around 25 strength and 25 dexterity. Ultra class weapons are also heavily stamina demanding, making endurance a viable stat with it. The debuff is -1 acrobatics and athletics, and -5 dex.
Akin to the Ultragreat weapons, these Grand Shields have a base strength requirement of 20 (depending what type of shield you use because a Grand Tower Shield is going to weigh more than your Grand Kite Shield). Once you manage to grind your stats to use these shields, they are a bit cumbersome to use, however they provide a thick layer of metal between you and that pointy spear. For example, if it is a iron Grand Tower Shield, it’ll have 22-33 protection instead of 11-22.
Dexterity wouldn't be needed to wield these shields for obvious reasons. Instead, you will need likely just Strength (depending on the metal, list below) to carry the shield itself and then some Endurance to ensure that you do not get tired out from moving around with a massive ass thick shield.
