Compared to previous iterations of Sevilidan, this is no longer a test. In the previous Sevilidan we learned quite afew tricks and information relating to what works and what does not, it is also important to note that because we had been a test before hand that I was quite open to "Anything goes." this is no longer the case as players will be expected to follow the lore and follow the setting that you are playing in. This is not a post-modern roleplay setting, it is not rennaisance roleplay, it is not roman roleplay and it is not snowflake roleplay. This is (Current setting) and this setting has lore and roles. If you're going to create a character you're expected to apply if you wish for anything in line of progressing your character. If you're going to play here you are expected to follow rules as well as act a certain number of ways IC'ly.
For example, going around acting like a white knight is forbidden. Acting like a social justice warrior in a setting where life is grim is also forbidden, it is these actions that will get your character removed. Treating lords as your equals is concidered bad roleplay, especially when you lack the resources and abilitiys of which that lord carries and they -will- PK your character for such negligence. Repeatedly neglecting your character in these ways will also get you removed from the community for quality control reasons.
OOC Rules both apply in game and on the forums.
1) Player conduct should be reasonable, you are expected to argue if your corner is not being fought or reasonably upheld and we respect that. However you are expected to take such issues to the forums where these issues can be judged publicly and debated between both parties. If a player begins to flame other players or even bait other players, this is considered bad conduct. It is also considered bad conduct to smear campaign against another player whilst he is not public as this is what leads to circle jerks and unnecessary drama. Trolling of other players goes without saying also under this category. The server is for the role play people and the forums is where we handle issues and fix these issues.
Respect players and follow proper conduct or I will toss you out on your ass.
2) Back seat administration is strictly prohibited, players do not have the authority to call shots on when or when not an thread or player needs to be locked or banned. Players do however have the ability to open up a thread inside the complaints section regarding an issue and administrators have an ethical duty to their role to hear out the evidence and complaint fully including both sides of the complaint. Players do not have the right to call for the banning of a player, decide what course of action is to be taken when an administrator is most certainly present or decide when a thread should be locked. You are a player, not an admin. Focus on having fun and not trying to lead my administrators or game-masters by the hand around, that's my job.
If you do this, I will eject you from the community after warning you in a display of irony.
3) Ignoring decision making is prohibited, it is an admins duty to make decisions for fairness and where the rules do not detail. If you are ignoring decision making by an administrator you will be warned and then ejected from the community, an administrators rulings are final and non-negotiable. If you truly disagree with the action being taken then take it to the complaints section where it'll be handled appropriately.
4) Game & Account access, your game and account is yours and yours alone. If you are breaking a rule then the argument that it was your brother or a family member is non-excusable. Such argument will result immediately in removal from the community as it will not only be taken as a indication that your testifying to the rulebreaking happening but also to the fact that you are not safe to the health of my community.
5) Administrators hold the position and authority to make decisions that are not written within' the rules. This is to avoid letting individuals get away through the cracks of rule making. Once again, if you disagree with a decision take it to the forum. If you're banned for making such a complaint then the administrator will be investigated for his actions and the ban will be lifted.
6) Foul character editing will get you permanently removed from the community with no exceptions to be made. We have ways of checking if a character is legit or not.
In-character rules
1) Acting out of setting is an offense that will get you removed for quality control reasons.
2) Fear roleplay is 100% to be carried out, players can not decide on what one is to fear or not to fear however all must understand a general guide of what is horrific and what is not. For example, seeing imperials is terrifying and a man with a blaster pointed to your head is equally terrifying. If you're going to go around acting like you are not afraid of anything then you're going to get a PK for negligence as well as a warning that if you continue this course of character interaction you will be removed. Exceptions to what one can and can not fear depend on the character, if a character is indeed powerful then an exception may be permitted.
3) Power & Meta gaming both are an obvious offense, you will be PK'd and removed if you do either of this.
4) New Life Rule exists so that in the future after death two characters do not repeatedly quarrel through death. Once you are dead you are to forget all interaction you have ever had with that same character and where impossible treat such history as another character. For example, if you're killed by a artificer that made you a helmet then in future treat that helmet as if it was made by another artificer. Breaking this ruleset will get you PK'd and removed.
5) Breaking character sheet will get you PK'd, do not break what is and what is not acceptable for your characters limits.
((Please understand, these rules remain common for all settings we create, whether its fantasy, Starwars, Stalker or Neoteric. As such some phrases will not apply to current theme but you are expected to use your brain to read between the lines in regards to what is being articulated in this documentation.))
