** The script is archaic and well worn, a literacy of 1 is required to read this book and Arcana Knowledge of 1 to understand it. Possession of this book is frowned upon by many, even illegal in some lands.**
**Upon holding this book you feel cold as if touched by death itself. The pages contain many ritualistic drawings along with text both instructive and philosophical which tends to drone on for those who don't care

What the spell does:
Binds you to death allowing you to tap into it's power, you have sold your soul any hope of you redeeming yourself is out of the window.
Decay and destruction shall follow you even if you should try to avoid it. The Ritual must be completed to use necromancy, until the caster has gained the Pact of the Dead Curse no other Necromancy spells can be cast.
It's lethality:
Deadly to self if concentration is broken during the ritual.
It's side-effects:
A mark appears on your body black like a tattoo in the form of an hourglass made of bone, being no ordinary mark upon close inspection the images that depict the grains of sand in the hourglass are in fact moving however they fall upwards. Gain the Curse Pact of the Dead. This Ritual must be performed every 3 IRL months or else you begin to decay at a rapid rate although death does not take you till 1 more month passes. Forcing you to roam the world as a rotting corpse

A ritual circle painted in blood as seen in the book, a human sacrifice placed in the center of the ritual, a skull for each compass direction placed on the edges of the circle, complete concentration on the spell and the Tome of the Dead.

With a touch the caster accelerates the ageing process of the target, anything that can be eroded, wilted or decayed by the passing of time are affected by this spell.
However it is not instant giving someone ample opportunity to swing a sword or shrug off the contact, it starts by making the target feel weaker the kind when you have not eaten for a while from there it progresses slowly till they go pale and life leaves them.

Use of this gives the caster the Curse: Withering 1, this curse may be removed by performing the Pact of the Dead Ritual. The Curse stacks to a maximum of Withering 15 at which point a limb selected by a GM becomes Withered and decayed like that of a Egyptian Mummy leaving it no longer able to be used.
