Brief Backstory:
As an Ashen child, Brandon was raised in a family of devout believers of the light. His mother was a nun, and his father was a priest. He was raised within a poor community and learned to be grateful of what he had. He counted himself lucky to be among those serving under the Light.
Many friends which he did have nicknamed him "The Pious", as for many a year did he pray four times a day, and six on a Sunday, thanking the Lord for everything he had gained thus far in his life.
He moved to Karrack once he felt it was time to move on, as he needed to become a man to serve the light better, and one could not do this by living with his mother and father... Eventually he left the church behind, becoming a travelling monk. In Karrack he helped an orphanage, and assisted farmers in tending their lands, free of charge, other than a single loaf of bread per week, for money is a luxury best had by those more deserving.
His hope and fire to rejoin the church was rekindled once, a fateful day in Karrack, a woman, named Viridis, stood paraded in the centre of the town, where she cured not only him, but the dozen children he was caring for... He now searches for a way to complete this goal.
