Sparring with leo, using his sword one handed. from 7:40PM to

**Squire Leonardo 'Leo' Dickens walks back over with a stick. It was so long.. Stiff.. Just begging to be touched-- I mean whacked.
**Sir Daniel Smith he'd draw his longsword out, grasping it in his right hand and raising it up into a defensive stance as he widens his feet and prepares for a spar. "Try to hit me."
**Squire Leonardo 'Leo' Dickens , with his sword held in one hand, decided to charge forth towards Daniel. He lifted his stick up and began to bring it down towards the man's head, aiming to smack him atop the head with it.
**Sir Daniel Smith He'd wave the blade, angling it around to follow leo's stick as it comes in to hit him. He soon spots it when he decides to swing downward with it. He thrusts his hand upward, extending the sword across, over his head and blocking the stick with the broad side of the blade, holding the muscles on his arm to prevent the sword from budging much as it was struck.
**Squire Leonardo 'Leo' Dickens was pressing down. Hard. He wasn't about to let up so easily. He'd quite easily manage to force the sword down upon Daniel, assuming the flat-end was facing him of course. After that, he'd playfully "saw" his stick against the back of Daniel's head while he smirked deviously, "Got ya."
**Sir Daniel Smith He'd struggle a bit before he's overwhelemed by the strength strength of leo's push, being tapped on the back of the head and sighing. He brings his sword down and soon raises it to a defensive stance again. "Good, let's continue."

sparring match 2.

**Squire Leonardo 'Leo' Dickens draws his stick back from Dan after that and nodded, losed the smile, and returned to an offensive stance. This time, he'd try and lower himself down into a crouch as quick as he could and, at the same time, draw his stick back a bit so he could swing it from left-to-right towards Daniel's right knee.
**Sir Daniel Smith He'd suddenly step his right leg back, giving some extra him as he would swing the sword around and downward, quickly angling his arm so the sword would easily spin around to block the low attack, just about deflecting it before he'd step back once and quickly bring the blade around to the defensive stance again.
**Squire Leonardo 'Leo' Dickens had his stick deflected by the sword and recoiled back a little as a result. The squire stood back up after that and prepared for another attack. This time, he'd try and simply swing his stick at the knight's chest, as if he were holding a longsword of his own, to try and slice through that leather on his torso.
**Sir Daniel Smith He'd simply swish the sword to the side, angling it inwards slightly as he'd knock leo's stick back, sending it slightly upward which may leave him exposed for a moment. but he had simply returned the sword by his chest, holding it defensively.
**Squire Leonardo 'Leo' Dickens brought his own stick down after that and gave him a gentle nod. This time, the man started to gently "bounce" on his toes as he swung his stick against the flat end of Daniel's sword so that he could hop a little closer and follow through with a second strike to Daniel's chest in a simple stab.
**Sir Daniel Smith He'd take a step back as leo would of swung and advanced closer. He tried to push his sword to the side as it swung in, but he ended up being poked lightly with leo's follow up attack and lowers his sword. "Alright. Ready for another?"

sparring match 3.

**Squire Leonardo 'Leo' Dickens stepped back right after and nodded, "Always." he replied as he lifted his stick back up in an offensive position. He began to strafe slowly to his left while remaining out of arms-reach, positioning himself so that Daniel would eventually end up with his back to the fence post.
**Sir Daniel Smith He'd follow Leo's movements, walking in the opposite direction he was but keeping his feet close to the ground with each step to keep himself grounded if he needed to be steady. He held the sword at the ready while watching the squire.
**Squire Leonardo 'Leo' Dickens decided to slowly drag the soles of his feet across the ground as they simply ended up exchanging positions. Once they were at opposite ends now, he'd try and make several swift, careful strikes towards the flat-end of Daniel's sword, in an attempt to somehow cause him to lose his focus. There was simply one after the other, and he wouldn't let up until Daniel gave him an opening or did something else.
**Sir Daniel Smith He'd follow leo's moves and bring his sword out to meet the first few strikes. But as they began to get too much for him he'd send a swift swing with his sword outwards to the side, attempting to knock his side aside to break his set of attacks.
**Squire Leonardo 'Leo' Dickens was able to keep up until Daniel went and swung at his stick. The weapon came flying out of Leonardo's hand just as he was going in for another swing, and it ended up smacking into the door before hitting the ground. Leo glanced over at the stick, then back to Daniel, and shrugged. "Guess I'm dead."

Commanded a sizable force of 70 + a few other men in sieging a bandit held port town.

Fought in direct combat with some bandit spearmen and forced a few to surrender

Looted the town and corpses after the siege

Battled the ashen blademaster with a raiding party and dodged some attacks, injured both of his arms to (quite literally) disarm him

**Baron Daniel Smith Coming to expect horizontal swings from the man with the sword he would of watched him move, ducking down with a quickly drop of his knees towards the ground and makes a rapid roll towards him. With the blademaster's huge, heavy blade passing across he'd hopefully need to take a moment to pull the sword back after the swing, allowing dan a brief moment to get to his knees and slash the truesteel blade up at one of hte bosses forearms.

** is stabbed by the man leaping with the two swords- though in response, it would immediately switch to a single handed grip, placing the blade to rest on its shoulder as it would slam his fist forward from whence the blades that penetrated his armor and body originated from, presumably sending the man flying. The other slash from the mans longsword would clash loudly against the metal of the mans gauntlets, causing him to leap backwards several feet as a result.

**Baron Daniel Smith He'd drop down to the floor as the blademaster would raise his sword up and swing it across. He collapses onto the ground with a grunt and glances up at the ashen blademaster, swinging his sword upward and towards his other forearm holding the sword to hack it as he tried to push up to his knee

** would swing his blade down to match the mans attack- though the sword would easily cut into his arm, causing the full weight of the sword to come crashing down upon him and his back- leaving the blademaster's primary sword arm severely injured.

Later rested and went to mine in the mines with his iron pick. ore needed still.

**Baron Daniel Smith makes his way into the mines, limping slightly as he'd carry the iron pick over his shoulder. He soon makes his way around the corner and spots some ore rich materials and begins to swing the pickaxe down into the rock. He slowly chips away at the stone before uncovering the ores within, digging them out with the wide end of the pick and gathering them into a pouch before heading back outside of the mine and returning home.

Got into a small fight with vantar.

**As the Baron begins to step forward- this is the alert to Vantar, he'd go to leap back however late, the Barons blade slices upon his stomach enough to cause horrible bleeding- not enough to cause internal injury. This leaves 1 metre of distance between the two.

recieved 2 steel picks from rhogar, gave one to leo

Carried logs and jogged along the coast to train.

**Baron Daniel Smith He'd move around to the outskirt of town, gathering some logs of firewood and placing them in his arms. He'd carry off two to hold them while he began to jog along the coast, running back and forth to train his body.
**Baron Daniel Smith He'd make his run across the beach, stopping as he reaches the church and turns to the left. He'd begin to jog uphill with small grunts, still holding the logs strong under his arms.
**Baron Daniel Smith He'd jog over the small hills behind the town, panting as he soon makes his way back to the starting point with logs in hand, straining a little bit to hold them up.
**Baron Daniel Smith As he'd begin to run out of breath from jogging laps around the whole region he'd slow his run, carrying the lumber back to where he had found it. Once there he sets the logs down and sits back against a wall to rest.

Went running in the woods later on.

**Baron Daniel Smith He'd walk out from the small pass and into he forest deeper inland. After another brief rest he'd begin to set off on the dirt path, jogging along at a steady pace while keeping an eye out as he passes through the dense brush and trees.
**Baron Daniel Smith He'd jog along the dirt path, and come across the wooden river bridge, crossing it over and continuing on his run.
**Baron Daniel Smith After a while of jogging he begins to breath a little heavier. Once spotting a good boulder he'd see it as a turning point and curve around it. Making his way back on the path and running in the direction he had come from.
**Baron Daniel Smith He jogs back along the wooden bridge off to the path, proceeding to run back onto the other side of the river and turn towards the left, running back along the riverside.
**Baron Daniel Smith As he'd continue on running he decides to turn off again and proceed to jog down the road towards the city, breathing heavier as he nears the end of his run
**Baron Daniel Smith He slows down at the small estate outside the city outskirts, resting a hand against the low wall and panting. He slowly regains his breath over the minutes, glancing around the quiet field.

"Negociated" with the beastmen tribe.

yells "I COME WITH A OFFERING. IT IS SIMPLE. YOU SHALL NOT COME NEAR THE CAMP AND ATTACK US AND INRETURN WE SHALL NOT RAID YOU. BUT IF YOU ATTACK US, WE SHALL KILL ALL HUMAN EXILES. "
Baron Daniel Smith yells "And how can we trust you?"
yells "UNLESS YOU WOULD LIKE TO SEE THE HORDES OF BEASTMEN DESTORY YOUR LAND, THEN DO TURN AWAY OUR OFFER."
Baron Daniel Smith yells "If You want no attacks then it shall be done on my part. But If I see a single beastman raid on our towns I will smite you and raze your camps and do such things to your vulnerable population that would even sicken your gods."

gave Rhogar enough iron ore for 17 ingots

**Baron Daniel Smith nods and takes a large bag of materials, offering it over to the dwarf.
Baron Daniel Smith says "Enough for 17 ingots."

Lead his smaller army against a larger force of attacking beastmen and defended his town

Violently tortured a beastman captive and interrogated the others, found out:

**Baron Daniel Smith He'd approach some nearby stone with the things that show it should be something to look for when mining. Raising his steel pickaxe he'd hack and dig into the stone, uncovering some ores that he'd pull out of the rock with his pick to clear them and gather them up in a pouch.

**Baron Daniel Smith He'd take a step back, drawing his sword and angling it to hold the broadside of the blade as he grasps it in two hands, taking a defensive stance. "Try to hit me then."
**Squire Leonardo 'Leo' Dickens assumes an offensive stance as he clutches his wooden mace. He gave Daniel a quick nod in acknowledgement before rushing towards the man while retracting his weapon and preparing for a swing. Once in range, he'd try to really dish out the pain in his first strike, aiming to smack Daniel on his right shoulder with it. Of course it wouldn't do much damage at all though.
**Baron Daniel Smith He'd tense his arms up and then angle his sword, swinging it out to clash it against the stick. He'd easily bring his sword out with the broadside of the blade, knocking leo's attempt at a swing back before reverting to his defensive stance and continuing to watch his moves.
**Squire Leonardo 'Leo' Dickens recoils from the deflection of Daniel's sword and takes two steps back to bring his mace back out in front of him. Once he was prepared to strike again the squire lunged forward with his weapon gripped in that same firm grip to try and attack from the opposite direction and whack Daniel in the left arm.
**Baron Daniel Smith As leo would swing the mace shaped branch over at his other arm he'd simply deflect it with a strong sideways push of his forearms, moving the sword to block and push the swing back before repositioning himself in a more sturdy stance, regaining his block.
**Squire Leonardo 'Leo' Dickens recoils back from his swing once more as he had his mace deflected away. He took another two steps back, got back into his original stance, and looked for another chance to strike. This time he began to strafe around to his right while clutching his weapon in front of him. After a moment or two, the squire lunged forth for another attack and aimed to swing at Daniel's sword now to try and knock it away and immediately bring his mace back, if it was successful, to try and smack Daniel in the chest with it.
**Baron Daniel Smith He'd turn himself, keeping up with leo and watching as he'd swing the mace him. His sword would of been hit but he'd take a rapid step back, just about dodging the mace swing and attempting to regain his block after being exposed
**Squire Leonardo 'Leo' Dickens brings his mace back once more after, once again, failing to hit Daniel. The squire let out a quiet huff as he thought about his next move. He decided to step forward again and simply swing his mace at Daniel's sword once more several times over until he found an opportunity to strike.
**Baron Daniel Smith He'd bring his sword up, blocking the first few strikes of his mace, but he'd begin to have his guard exposed from the overwhelming strength. He suddenly would make an attempting, swinging his sword back away from Leo's strike to avoid it's momentum before swinging his sword in forcefully to knock it back before he lunges backwards to try and regain his block.
**Squire Leonardo 'Leo' Dickens missed that last swing and had his mace knocked back successfully, though he was able to keep up his momentum as Daniel was lunging back and went after him after recovering from the block. As soon as he could, the man went for another strike without much stopping, aiming to strike his sword once more several times over. If able, he'd try and make a swing for Daniel's left arm at some point.
**Baron Daniel Smith He'd continue to hold his ground, blocking the strikes with precision for the first few. But eventually with Leos strength he'd begin to just whack his sword blade around, leaving and opening for him to be slapped in the arm. He grunts and rubs his arm where the stick has hit, sheathing his sword and stating. "Very good. But if I had gone on the offensive there would of been openings for me to take you out."
**Squire Leonardo 'Leo' Dickens nodded and decided to drop his mace-stick hybrid upon seeing Daniel put away his sword. "Thank you, sire. I plan on using a shield during battle as well, seeing as a mace isn't much good at parrying with a swordsman."

Had Leo beat him with a stick to train his body to withstand pain and some damage.

**Baron Daniel Smith He'd approach some tree and reach down, soon gathering a somewhat large, dull but rather thick branch. He'd turn and offer it over to leo, soon slipping out of his coat. "I will surely be taking hits in battles in the future. So I must train my body to react better to being harmed. So Take this stick and beat me with it."
Squire Leonardo 'Leo' Dickens says ".. As you say, sire. I won't hit your head, but I won't hold back either, unless you ask me to do otherwise."
Baron Daniel Smith says "Very well. Go on."
**Squire Leonardo 'Leo' Dickens takes the large branch in both his hands and clutched it tightly as he gazed at Daniel for a short amount of time. He decided this would be a pretty good way to get back at him for holding off on that equipment he promised so long ago, and decided to put all his anger out on him with that in mind. The man heaved the large branch up before bringing it down upon Daniel's left shoulder with a rough smack. Considering Leonardo's strength, it would probably hurt quite a bit.
**Baron Daniel Smith He'd flex his muscles in and hold a stance, bracing himself for the beating. He'd grunt and flinch down, leaning to the left as his shoulder is viciously smacked with the branch. But he wills himself, using his own strength to just keep standing and get used to the pain.
**Squire Leonardo 'Leo' Dickens repeatedly lifted that branch back and swung at Dan**Baron Daniel Smith He'd shut his eyes and tense his muscles, standing stiffly as his body is beaten and bruised with the branch. He begins to pant hard, trying to keep himself standing, but leo's much higher strength would deliver harsh marks beaten into his sides. And while the branch wasn't hard and dense enough to break bones it certaintly exhausted dans will to stand. He eventually fell after leo sent many of the strikes across his body. Making him collapse back onto the grass and his limbs shake in pain

**Squire Leonardo 'Leo' Dickens continued to further push his own endurance as he relentlessly heaved that branch down upon Daniel's now fallen body. He'd aim for his torso some more now that he could get to it easier, gradually beating and bruising him more and more. Leo eventually began to pant a bit as well, growing visibly tired now.
**Baron Daniel Smith He'd take some of the beating from the branch, soon gaining mild lacerations from the swings of the servant hitting him with his branch. He'd raise a hand up, half blocking one of the branch swings with his hand to signal him to stop while laying there, half concious.
**Squire Leonardo 'Leo' Dickens quickly stopped upon seeing Daniel raise a hand up. He held the branch in both his hands in front of him as he gazed down at his baron. ".. Well uh.. Hopefully all that helps you in the long run."
**Baron Daniel Smith He'd grunt and slowly roll up into a seated position, bracing his forearms on his knees as he'd speak. "It shall...Just, i must retire to sleep. Help me up"

**Squire Leonardo 'Leo' Dickens took a step back as well, "Just a warm-up." he added quickly before lunging forward again, going to make two quick strikes for Daniel's sword and then another jab for his torso. Smack-smack-smack.
**Baron Daniel Smith He'd extend his arms over to the side and bring the sword out in a quick move, a bit faster than Leo as he'd hold the blade firmly, blocking it from the two strikes and then waving it outwards very briefly before he swings it in towards the mace as it comes in for a jab, attempting ot knock it to the side as he steps back.
**Squire Leonardo 'Leo' Dickens has literally all his blows deflected and shit because he's so shit at fighting still. He brings his mace back and takes two steps back to put some distance between them. After a few moments he lunged forward once more, going to make two strong swings at Daniel's sword this time, aiming to force him to loose a hold of his grip on that sword of his as he aims towards the base of the blade.
**Baron Daniel Smith He'd bring his sword up as leo would swing it in, the blade being tilted heavily to the side after the sudden strong swing. But the second time he'd let the sword swing around to the side, leaving him exposed but taking a step back to gain some distance before he'd suddenly swing the sword back in, attempting to knock the mace out from Leo's hand.
**Squire Leonardo 'Leo' Dickens had his mace knocked right out of his hand as a result of Daniel's quick movements and skill with that sword. The man sighed and stepped back to pick his weapon back up before it rolled downhill.
**Baron Daniel Smith He'd nod once towards him and lowers his sword, resting his hand on the pommel as he'd speak. "You're strong. But you need to be quicker with your weapons. Some more training should help. I expect you to make good use of a weapon if I am to provide you will truesteel."
