Attended a sermon at the church.

High Priest Glacius yells "Holy Illuminary essence, we your loyal servants give you our thanks and prayer once more. You may have been forgotten amongst most of the masses but here stands loyalty amongst these brave few, may you grant them safety and longlivity in these dangerous times."

Went mining later on.

**Baron Daniel Smith He'd make his way down into the mines after entering. Reaching for his back he pulls the solid steel pickaxe out and places it into his hands. Within a few minutes of searching he'd spot a good, possible iron vein, swinging the pick in over and over to chip away at the rocks before he uncovers some ore. Proceeding to claw it out with the pickaxe and gather it

Athletics training.

**Baron Daniel Smith He'd back up to the hillside at the bottom of the cliffs by the coast. He does some brief stretches while looking ahead towards the steep climb ahead, way across to the other side of his land. He'd then lower himself slightly and break into a sprint, running across the outskirts of his town to train himself, running as fast as he could.
**Baron Daniel Smith He barely slows as he goes up the small hills, but speeds significantly as he runs down the other side. Once beginning the run up the steep, rocky hill he'd pant, pushing himself to the limit to continue running up, curving around the large rocks and making his way up the hill.
**Baron Daniel Smith He begins to grow very tired as he reaches over the top, but gives himself one last surge of energy as he'd see the other side and the slope leading downwards. He'd then run down the other side of the slope, jogging through the narrow valley.
**Baron Daniel Smith As he'd run down to the end of the pass he'd push off from the rocky wall and begin his jog back up the slope. He'd be tired from the long run up the rough terrain, slowing his jog and soon coming to a walk. Stopping and resting at the top of the high hill leading into town.

Sparring a few rounds with Nande.

**Baron Daniel Smith He'd raise his sword up into a defensive position, taking a step back and getting into a fighting stance as he'd wait on her. "Very well, try to hit me with the side of that spear."

**Nande 'Haze' Salaren tightens her grip on her spear and raises it a bit and to her right, before quickly swinging it down at the Baron's shoulder.

**Baron Daniel Smith He'd swing his sword out, blocking the simple attack and going to knock it away before he'd pull his sword in. He'd then swish it downward, angling it to point out and thrust it past her side, attempting to slap the blade against her side before pulling it back and up.

**Nande 'Haze' Salaren tries to jump out of the way but the sword's flat side still grazes her side and she sighs, resetting herself into combat position, ready to attempt another strike on the Baron. This time she starts by circling him with her spear trained on him. She feigns a swing from his right and she pulls the spear back, hoping to confuse him and she swings the spear from the other direction at his left.

**Baron Daniel Smith He'd follow her steps with his own in the opposite direction as she'd try to circle around him. Her swing makes him bring his sword out to block, but as she pulls back and swings around to his left he'd of brought the sword back, swinging it out to meet the second swing, but just being touched by the side of the spear. "Well, you've got me then..." He says, backing up and raising his sword into a defensive hold once more.

**Nande 'Haze' Salaren nods with a small smile, "Bet that trick won't work twice huh?" she says, resetting her stance once more. This time she goes for an unapologetically quick sweep at his legs, and pre-emptively backing up as she swings, using his long arms and pike to keep her out of distance of the expected retalitory swing.

**Baron Daniel Smith He'd take a small step back as she sweeps towards his legs. His arms twist outward and he'd tilt his sword downward and swings it across, deflecting her low attack and suddenly bringing the sword back up to his chest level, slowly advancing.

**Nande 'Haze' Salaren 's eyes widen and she continues to back up, turning to walk parallel to the buildings. She trains her spear at him as she retreats.

**Baron Daniel Smith He'd suddenly speed his advance, lunging in with the blade and attempting to swing it downwards to slap the broad side of the blade against her shoulder as he closes in.

**Nande 'Haze' Salaren lifts up her right arm to bring the back of her spear toward the sword in an attempt to stop it. She was aiming the spear at the Baron, however, and she could not get it into a defensive stance quick enough, so she is slapped. "I should have probably been in a more defensive stance," she sighs again.

**Baron Daniel Smith nods and brings his sword back after tapping her on the shoulder. Once back he'd lower it, holding it in one hand as he asks. "Will that be all then? I think we've done well."

A little more athletics training

**Baron Daniel Smith After a while of rest from the sparring, he'd stare down at the long dirt road, deciding to get some more training in. He'd speed up his pace to a run, rushing off towards the pass to Nar'shadaw. He breaths a bit heavily as he carries himself at a quick pace, making his way with some effort to the door.

**Baron Daniel Smith He'd run along the path, panting as he passes through the door and up the steep hill leading to town. His run slows to a jog as he passes over th top of the hill, but speeds up again as he sprints down the rocky slope, avoiding boulders and stones until he'd slow down at the bottom, stopping to catch his breath.

Began some basic studies at the church to learn literacy.

**Baron Daniel Smith He'd move over to gather some simple books from around the church, what he can to teach himself basic literacy and he'd soon take a seat in one of the pews. Beginning to study.

Climbed up a ridge, potentially training upper body somewhat.

**Baron Daniel Smith climbs up onto the platform, moving to the other side.
**Baron Daniel Smith He'd lower himself back onto the floor with a grunt, dusting himself off.

Assisted in fighting an undead paladin.

**Baron Daniel Smith He'd come up from behind the beast of a paladin, attempting to hack his incredibly sharp truesteel sword into the giant's arm which wields the hammer, hoping to injure him and prevent him from swinging it. but still tries to retract himself cautiously after the attack.
**As the blades hack and slash into the rear of the creature- even the glave enters the helmet of the creature. The Beast seems unphased, it's head cracking to turn it's gaze towards Emily in a 180 turn. The hammer is then brought down upon the top of the shield, crushing the shield into the ground. This ensures that Glacius is trapped.
**Baron Daniel Smith He'd draw his sword back briefly but then swings in inwards again towards it's arm where he had cut before, attempting to chop the arm off completely.
**The helmet does not lift from the creatures head- as if bound to the being. As the Baron hacks the arm off- the arm never the less remains attached. It makes no physical sense to him yet clearly some magical works bounds the hunk of armour together. The creature leaves the shield, ensuring Glacius to be trapped as he'd grasp his hammer now with two hands. He takes up a form like a Paladin of old holding the great hammer, his attention fixed on Emily.

Physical strength training with Leo.

**Baron Daniel Smith nods his head once and brings his hands out, widening his stance as he'd prepare for the sparring match with his squire.
**Squire Leonardo 'Leo' Dickens returned the nod and tossed his own stick away. He lifted his hands up into fists out in front of him as he clenched them tightly, prepared to swing at a moment's notice. He began to fast-walk towards the baron while keeping that same determined, aggressive stance. Once in range, if able, he'd go to make a swift blow with his right hand for the man's gut. He kept his left hand up to defend his face.
**Baron Daniel Smith He'd see leo coming in with the advance, suddenly breaking into a quick lunge and attempting to grab firmly onto his upper arms, turning his body somewhat as the fist connects with his side. He grunts but pulls on Leo to keep his balance while his feet stagger. He'd then try to step a few times over to the left and shove him over to try and send him stumbling down the hill.
**Squire Leonardo 'Leo' Dickens was tensing up hard as he really began to fight and struggle to keep his balance with the baron clutching his arms. He dug one foot into the dirt to keep himself steady against the baron's pushing while his other foot came around to prevent himself from being right in front of the man and instead at his side. He'd manage to force his right arm free, it being the furthest away from the baron now, and went to send it flying for Daniel's cheek.
**Baron Daniel Smith He'd keep his one hand planted on leo's left arm, staying with his movements and grappling onto him. As he'd send the punch towards his cheek a quick reaction would allow him to duck below it and in counter, thrust his fist out to strike him in the gut while he pushes against his shoulder. Hoping to wind him enough to knock him over the side of the hill and send him rolling down.
**Squire Leonardo 'Leo' Dickens let out a gasp as he was struck in the gut, though it wasn't nearly enough to put this man down. He did take a step back, just slightly further down the hill, in order to regain his balance though. He was relatively quick to recover from a minor blow and ended up rushing forward once more with a large step, the retracting of his right arm, and finishing with another punch at Dan's torso.
**Baron Daniel Smith He'd try to hold leo off with his hand gripping at his arm, but he'd just manage to send a fist towards his torso, the large strength difference causing him to spin off off the grapple somewhat and fall over down the hill. After recovering his footing he'd get up and dust himself off, nodding. "Ah, good work. But we'll do some more tomorrow."

Continued his basic literature studies.

**Baron Daniel Smith Returns over to the basic literature tomes within the church and pulls the one he had began reading back out. He steps back and sits down on a pew, opening the pages up and continuing to read from where he was.

**Baron Daniel Smith He quietly reads the words on the pages, taking it slowly as he'd gradually read over the pages of the book. Struggling occasionally but managing to continue on after a while.

**Baron Daniel Smith He'd soon finish up reading a few pages in the book after a while, getting up from the pew and closing it. He'd walk over to the shelves and place it back, exiting soon after.

Sparred with his truesteel longsword two handed with Katherine.

**Baron Daniel Smith He'd pull his truesteel blade out, raising it up and taking a defensive stance while stepping back to prepare for the spar.

**Dame Katherine Mellinstone removes the blade from within it's sheath, placing it into her dominent right hand, she'd spin it around for a moment in her hand before taking stance, taking small strides to the left. "Are you ready, m'lord?"

**Baron Daniel Smith He nods once and faces her, keeping himself focused as he'd wait for her to advance at first, keeping a more defensive position as the spar begins.

**Dame Katherine Mellinstone continues strafing to the left, after a few steps she'd send her left foot forward, her blade following shortly after it in a side-ways motion, aimed for the left side of the Barons chest, the motion swift and powerful.

**Baron Daniel Smith He'd stay idle until she would come out and make the first move, parrying it with his sword and trying to push it aside before he'd thrust his blade forward past her arm and attempt to swing it in to slap her on the upper arm.

**Dame Katherine Mellinstone strafed to the right as the blades made contact, as she does she'd retract her sword back towards her, the Barons blade missing her arm by centimetres, as she regains her former stance she'd go to strike once more, this time on the opposite side in a swinging motion.

**Baron Daniel Smith He'd step inwards with a wide lunge as she swings in towards the other side. His sword would come out, help at an upwards pointed angle as it clashes, attempting to use he leverage by deflecting her attack with his lower blade to easily push it aside so he can turn his sword to the flat side and whack it down on her shoulder with a single downwards swing.

**Dame Katherine Mellinstone loses her footing slightly as the two blades collide once again, in retaliation she'd attempt to counter push the Baron's sword in a opposite direction, however the strength of the Baron and his blade becomes apparent and simply forces the blade back towards her. Katherine would then send her right foot into a kick towards his lower thigh, attempting to break off the contact.

**Baron Daniel Smith He'd hold his ground in the lock briefly, still trying to bring the side of the sword down on her shoulder, but taking a sudden kick in the close distance he'd stagger backwards, his sword losing contact with hers. But he'd swish his blade to the side away from it slightly and then suddenly swing it back in towards her sword, attempting to knock it aside and exposed her briefly.

**Dame Katherine Mellinstone quickly regains her stance as the Baron releases contact, after doing so she'd make a quick step backwards, colliding her sword with his once again with a loud audible 'ting'. She'd use the majority of her strength to hold the blade away from her, if successful she'd quickly retract the blade, aiming for a quick but inaccurate swing towards the Barons left arm, potentially leaving her exposed for a matter of milliseconds.

**Baron Daniel Smith He'd of brought his sword back after the unsuccessful swing towards her, bringing the blade up by his chest in a defensive manner as he'd step back. He brings it out to meet her quick swing, attempting to deflect it with a swing of his own beforeh he'd bring the broadside of the longsword blade down on her hopefully exposed shoulder.

**Dame Katherine Mellinstone staggers slightly as the two blades collide once again, as she tries to regain balance her sword would slip down the metal of the Barons blade, hitting the hilt with a clink, the flat side of his blade would meet her shoulder rather abruptly, she'd drop her sword in retaliation.

**Baron Daniel Smith After tapping her shoulder he would raise it up and bring it back towards himself as his foot slides back into a neutral stance while placing the blade back into the scabbard with a nod. "You've done very well. I'll focus on your blade as soon as rhogar can show up."

More strength training with Leo. Got hit a few times but wrestled him off the hill.

**Baron Daniel Smith He'd wave katherine off as he'd go to take his weapons off and set them aside. "I'll need some space for this." He states, placing his sword and spear off to the side before returning and widening his stance a little. "You know how this goes. first one throw someone else to the bottom of the hill."

**Squire Leonardo 'Leo' Dickens lifts up his hands and forms them into fists in front of himself, arms blocking his torso/neck and his hands blocking his face. He began to pace towards Daniel and, once in range, went to move his right arm away to swing for his chest.

**Baron Daniel Smith He'd bring his fists up, holding them ready as leo approaches closer. And once the opening punch is thrown he'd bring his forearms to block it, steadying his stance in the ground before pushing forward and attempting to charge into leo and grapple with him by grabbing his upper shoulder with one arm.

**Squire Leonardo 'Leo' Dickens brought his fist back after having it blocked and stumbled ever-so-slightly as he was pushed backwards. He moved back some more as he was charged into, though he was quick to put a heel in the dirt behind him to keep him from moving anymore. At that point, he went to lift his left arm up and send his elbow down harshly onto the baron's back to give him a good bruising while he still had him grappled.

**Baron Daniel Smith He'd hold Leo back with a push, bringing his other arm out to suddenly grasp his other shoulder, getting some better control before his elbow smacks right into his back. He'dbe thrown off balance a bit but try to change the direction in which he pushed leo, attempting to shove him to the left, down the hill.

**Squire Leonardo 'Leo' Dickens is finally pushed over after Dan had sustained multiple blows. He ends up getting shoved some few feet away before falling onto his back with a quiet groan. He was quick to get up though. "Argh.. Alright."

**Baron Daniel Smith He'd release his grip and sit back down on the hill, rubbing his back somewhat as he'd look down at him. "Done already?...We'll do some more tomorrow. I'm a bit hurt from this so I'll rest for now.

**Baron Daniel Smith makes his way into the empty church, content with it's quiet. He approaches the small shelf of books and looks them over, finding the one had was given to start out with and takes it from the shelf. After opening it he steps back to the pew behind him, sitting down and beginning to look for the place he left off. Once finding it he'd begin to read the simple lessons in the tome, trying to learn the words and grammar that was taught within the very religious educating book.
**Baron Daniel Smith He'd struggle somewhat at some points, but pushes himself to continue reading the simple words, slowly educating himself on literacy as he sits there. Studying peacefully as he'd sit in the middle of the church.
**Baron Daniel Smith After a while he'd soon exhaust himself, struggling with some simple setences, but getting further than last time. He stands up and closes the book, sticking the tome back onto the shelf as he walks off towards the door.

Mined for coal, and got coal.

**Baron Daniel Smith He'd make his way down into the mines after making the trip to them, taking a brief break while he pulls his pickaxe off of his back to walk through the caves. He'd eventually find a good, potentially ore rich rock and swing his pick into it, chipping stone out until he'd find some ores to pull out and gather in a bag.

**Baron Daniel Smith He'd prepare for the sparring match a top the hill, just, slowly stripping down until he was weaponless. He places his long hard sword and spear, with it's dense, hard wooden shaft against the ground. After preparing he opens his legs up super wide, to get a more steady stance of course and prepares for the fight.
**Squire Leonardo 'Leo' Dickens reached over his shoulder and carefully pulled his pickaxe from around his back and out of its sling just so he could give it a gentle toss over the side of the hill. He followed that with pulling off his gloves and tossing them down with his tool, only to lift his hands back up in front of them and clench them tightly. He gave a small nod of acknowledgement towards Daniel, showing that he was ready.
**Baron Daniel Smith He'd begin to advance on him, taking sudden, but sturdy steps towards him as he closes the gap. "You know what to do." Speaking before he makes a sudden, quick lunge towards him, reaching out and trying to grab a handful of his man meat, by grasping and grappling onto his upper arms to get some control over the fight.
**Squire Leonardo 'Leo' Dickens extended his own hands out to try and grasp Daniel's own arms as he had begun to move into arms-length range. He stepped forward at the same time, getting awfully close to his partner in a desperate attempt to slam his ass onto the ground. Unfortunately, as they got close and attempted the same, they ended up locking hands instead, their fingers clutching down against one another. It turned into a simple war of strength as Leo struggled to push his upper body forward and force Daniel onto his back.
**Baron Daniel Smith After some struggle, leo manages to get on top of dan and hold him on the ground. He looks up at him and grunts, pulling his knee in and then shoving it out while pushing over to the side to try and lift him and roll him off towards his left as he battled for dominance.
**Squire Leonardo 'Leo' Dickens let out a satisfied chuckle as he managed to drop down on top of Dan and then immediately go to pin him down onto the ground, though he ended up getting pushed right off with Daniel's extra boost of strength by the use of his leg and rolled over onto the side and on his back, now on the bottom. He let out a quiet moan as he continued to fight and struggle for dominance with his baron. In a final effort, Leo tried to pull his right arm back and put all his effort into his left hand in order to tip Daniel over onto his side and cause him to tilt downhill while Leo pushed harder and harder in an effort to force him down it.
**Baron Daniel Smith He forces leo down onto his back for a moment, only holding him there briefly before leaping back off of him and dropping over to his side on the right. He'd then turn in towards him and attempt to shove his foot out against leo's body. Hoping to push him off and send him rolling down the hill as he was pushed, himself.
**Squire Leonardo 'Leo' Dickens was quick to sit back up and go back after Daniel as he had leaped off him. He tried to grasp whatever part of the man's body he could just before recieving a kick to his gut and beginning to fall backwards and down the hill.. But not before he managed to grab a hold of Daniel's closest arm first and dragged them both down together. He collapsed once they were at the bottom, their fight resulting in a hot, sweaty mess as Leo laid there huffing and panting quite loudly.
**Baron Daniel Smith Daniel would of been pulled aside by his strong (sparring) partner, gasping in surprised as he tumbles down right next to him and lays in the grass, exhausted after their intense strength-making session. Soon after, he'd begin to pull himself to a stand and stretch, chuckling. "Well I guess both of us went down...We can spar again tomorrow. I'm too sore to walk..."

**Baron Daniel Smith He steps back a few times and reaches over for his scabbard. He grabs ont othe handle of the sword and swiftly draws it out, taking it in both of his hands to raise it up by his chest at a defensive stance. Once taking a wider stance he'd speak and say "Let us train until we are too tired to continue."

**Dame Katherine Mellinstone swiftly removes her own sword from its sheathe, twirling it around within her right hand for a moment before taking stance. "Very well." she then strides to the left a couple of times, suddenly leaping forward with a heavy swing aimed towards the Barons' left side.

**Baron Daniel Smith He keeps his attention focused on her and her sword, holding his own up ready for a block. Upon seeing her sudden lunge forward and attempt at a heavy swing he'd swing his blade out, in a quick block but holding his hands firm to simply prevent the blade from striking him. After doing so, he'd hope she would need to recover after such a large swing, swishing his own blade back and then swinging it in back towards her sword, hoping to knock it aside and leave her exposed.

**Dame Katherine Mellinstone 's sword would indeed collide with the Baron's, the force of the strike at such an early stage of the spar exposes her to danger, at realization of such she'd quickly retract her blade, moving her feet swiftly back a few steps, as the pairs blades collide for a second time the strength of the Barons blade would indeed knock the sword to the side, exposing her to another attack.

**Baron Daniel Smith With her guard exposed he'd reposition his sword and poin it outwards, lunging in with a sudden step closer and swinging it inwards to slap the side of her ribs with the broadside of his sword to try and end the first duel with a victory.

**Dame Katherine Mellinstone would quickly swing her blade back **Baron Daniel Smith He'd have his own sword stopped just by hers, suddenly swinging the blade back around in reverse to bring it up towards himself and return to a defensive position. Once being kicked he does stagger slightly, but maintains his defensive. Taking a moment to recover while he focuses on her.

**Dame Katherine Mellinstone would quickly step back and recover her stance as the Baron recovers his own, as she does she'd smirk, taking a quick step forwards with her blade making a sudden over-arm swing towards the centre of the Baron's head, with the flat side of course.

**Baron Daniel Smith He sees as she comes in with the short blade, making her way in towards him and swinging downwards. He suddenly raises his sword up and turns his arms, blocking the swing easily before he simply just turns the blade and swings the sword downward and forward to slap her on the forehead with the broadside of his long blade, already beneath her line of defense.

**Dame Katherine Mellinstone retracts her blade as he taps her forehead with his blade. She doesn't waste any time and goes in for a second attack, this time the blade comes in from the side, headed towards the right side of the Barons' torso, as she done this she'd quickly change her position, shifting to the right.

**Baron Daniel Smith He'd pull his blade back after striking her with it and begins to lower it, seeing her not stopping in the duel he'd quickly back off, but be tapped barely by the side of her blade as she'd suddenly move over towards the right. "You know, the match was over once I had hit you first?"

Sparring match 2.

**Baron Daniel Smith He'd take a few steps back after the first match had ended and raises his sword up again. He steps a distance from her to allow his longer blade to reach before he'd come in with a sudden horizontal swing towards her lower left thigh, hoping to send a quick attack towards it.

**Dame Katherine Mellinstone stepped back, sword still within her right hand, she takes up a defensive position. "Okay." she'd reply, awaiting an attack.

**Dame Katherine Mellinstone would quickly send her blade out to meet his just before her thigh, due to the size difference she'd quickly step in towards the Baron, closing the distance and effectiveness of his sword.

**Baron Daniel Smith As she moves in to close the distance he twists his sword around to lock her blade in with his handguard. After doing this he'd raise one of his legs up and send a quick kick to push her backwards while angling the sword inwards to tap her butt if she'd stagger back from the kick.

**Dame Katherine Mellinstone held the Baron's blade back, even placing her sword into a second hand to assist in doing so, as he'd kick her she'd stagger back slightly but rectifies the situation but sliding over to the right, quickly retracting her blade and placing it back infront of her to defend herself from any further attacks.

**Baron Daniel Smith He'd return his blade towards himself and hold it up defensively, opening a space between them but allowing him the distance to strike her with his longsword. He observes her momentarily before suddenly lunging out and swinging the sword out to slap the side of her head, but faking the attack and readjusting the swing to move it downwards and strike her on the side of the leg.

**Dame Katherine Mellinstone takes advantage of the space and repositions her feet, as the Baron goes to strike for her head she'd bring the blade up to parry, quickly realizing the nature of the attack, her blade would come back down instantly and collide with the Baron's just before her leg, attempting to bring both the swords around to center, making sure the Baron's blade cannot simply slide across and make contact with her.

**Baron Daniel Smith He would clash her blade against her block, drawing it back and retracting himself from harms way as she'd slide her sword to meet the center of his blade. He'd then make one last, sudden step back to appear to distance himself before he suddenly swings the end of the blade to try and slap her on the opposite side with the flat side of the top end of his sword.

**Dame Katherine Mellinstone would also retract herself slightly from the conflict, bringing her sword down to parry the second attack on the opposite side, at the two blades clash the weight and strength of the Barons blade would knock the sword out from her right hand, it would however deflect the attack, she'd look down to the blade before facing the Baron. "Hm.."

**Baron Daniel Smith He sees in his peripheral that her blade would fly from her hand and he suddenly steps back, bringing his sword up and pointing it out towards her as he victors in the second match. "Very well. Shall we try some more tomorrow?" He says before placing the blade back in the scabbard.

He then collects whatever he would find in a bag, closing it up and replacing the pickaxe away as he'd finish prospecting
